요즘 엄청 핫한 AI툴인 ChatGPT, Midjourney 모두 사용해 보셨나요? 저는 단순 질문을 넘어서서 다른 활용 방법이 뭐가 있을까 계속 고민 중입니다. 이번 글에서는 ChatGPT, Midjourney를 활용한 우리 아이만을 위한 맞춤 영어 동화책 만들기를 소개 해보겠습니다.
ChatGPT 동화를 하나 써줘
ChatGPT와 파파고번역기를 이용해서 동화를 만들어 봅니다.
ChatGPT는 이미 계정이 있다고 생각하고 만들어보겠습니다.
1. 동화 제목 정하기
동화에 대한 간단한 정보를 주고 제목을 정합니다.
예를 들면 7살-9살 아이가 볼 챕터북을 만들 건데 제목을 추천해 줘라고 합니다.

저는 추가로 주인공이름을 Justin과 Ryan으로 변경했습니다.

Midjourney 이미지를 생성해 줘
chatGPT가 만들어 준 outline를 활용합니다. AI 이미지생성기인 Midjourney를 이용해 봅니다.
1. Midjourney 이용하기
Midjourney는 AI이미지 생성기입니다. Discord라는 대화형 채팅방 base에서 구동하는데요, 아래 순서대로 하시면 큰 어려움 없이 사용하실 수 있습니다.
- Midjourney 사이트에 들어가서 Join the Beta로 들어갑니다. 계정을 만들어 접속합니다.
- Discord화면이 보이면 채팅방 한 개로 들어가셔야 하는데요 새로 접속하셨으면 NEWCOMER ROOMS의 Newbies-***서버에 들어갑니다.
- 하단의 채팅창에 '/image'을 입력하고 prompt입력하는 곳에 내가 원하는 이미지의 정보를 텍스트로 넣으시면 됩니다.
- text를 넣고 기다리면 4가지 이미지를 생성해 주는데 하기 빨간 박스를 참고하셔서 버튼 눌러 원하는 이미지를 찾아 나가시면 됩니다.
2. 동화책 챕터별 정보를 넣어 이미지 만들기
chatGPT가 만들어준 outline을 챕터별로 prompt에 복사에서 넣어주고 기다립니다. 그러면 4개의 이미지 샘플을 생성해 주는데 이중에 맘에 드는 이미지를 선택하셔서 사용하시면 됩니다.
하기는 chatGPT가 만들어준 outline을 바탕으로 chapter별로 넣어서 만든 이미지입니다.
Canva 동화책을 부탁해
스토리와 이미지를 가지고 책을 만듭니다.
- Canva 사이트로 가서 간단한 회원가입을 한 뒤 Story book 템플릿을 고릅니다.
- 생성된 이미지를 끌어오면 자동으로 페이지에 붙습니다.
- 이야기를 복사해서 붙여 넣고 적당한 폰트를 골라서 layout을 꾸며줍니다. 이미지와 이야기를 적당히 어우러지게 넣으면 한 권의 책이 완성됩니다.
- 다운로드하시면 PDF파일로 할 수 있습니다.
하기는 제가 대충 만들어본 샘플입니다. AI로 생성한 이미지와 스토리를 넣어서 책으로 만들 수 있습니다.
